@Katie Duggan worry what my nanny is gonna do too. Like I’m terrified to go back to work because NO one is gonna do it like me. And I’m sure my way isn’t always correct either. But I think you seriously have to be with a baby for a week or two to understand them and learn them
I agree, 100%. I try to remind myself that nobody will do things my way (cause who else does it like mama?!??) but just try to relax that as long as baby is fed and clean and loved by whoever is watching them that’s the main thing. But it’s so so so hard. I’m trying to get a part time job so I don’t need to rely on her for baby care as much.
I hear you!!! My husband is the exact same way. He insists on giving our baby a bottle to get him to go to sleep and I try to tell him how bad that is for him but it doesn’t work. I feel your pain. It’s so exhausting and frustrating. My MIL watches my baby a few days a week and she doesn’t listen to the schedule/our preferences either… it makes me feel terrified to leave him with her for the whole work day.
