Sleep Regression

Does anyone else feel like their little one is going through a sleep regression? My son is 14 weeks old and in honesty has never been a great sleeper, but in the last week he has really struggled with having his naps during the day and sleeping any extended periods during the night, it seems like our routine, which once worked like a dream, has gone out of the window. It’s very common at 3-4 months I know, but I can’t help but feel absolutely defeated some days. He is also teething and has terrible gas, so my husband and I are dreaming of more sleep soon! I know everyone says it gets better, so certainly holding on to that at the moment! Sending love to all the October mamas, you’re doing a great job ☺️🫂

Yes!!!!!! My little boy goes through this loads so at 4-5 months he struggled then slept well then did it again 6-7 months and he’s still doing it now at 8months now he’s super clingy too. Little man got two teeth and he’s never slept normal since I think there’s more due but it’s taking so long. He napped in the morning and afternoon but struggled at night now the last 3 weeks I have struggled to do all 3

@Courtney I hope there is light at the end of the tunnel! We’ve got this! It’s crazy that you only really know these things when you have a baby, no one warns you 🫣

Yep. My daughter naps once a day at 12 weeks 😂😂😭 She was never sleepy baby during the day, but this is extreme. It pisses me off when I see mums whose babies naps 4-5x day at 12 weeks or later even! I mean what am I suppose to do? When some mums say "make her sleep" Like am I suppose to beat her up so she sleeps? Give her sleeping pills?? 👀👀🙉🙉🙉 Of course if my baby isn't sleepy or tired she just isn't and I can't change that..

@Gabi honestly! I think the best thing to do is not listen to too many different opinions. Every baby is different. I’ve definitely learnt that listening to too many opinions on social media can be damaging. I will say though, I can’t wait for the day that he sleeps a little longer!

@Camille yeah exactly like my sister has 3 and never mentioned it she just said wait for the sleepiness nights I thought she meant new born not the whole life 😂
