Feeling overwhelmed

I just feel like I’m going to explode, I feel my baby everywhere in my tummy, I hope she is not so big right now, I’m tired and over but she doesn’t want to come yet 😫😫 I can barely sleep, move around just want my body back and her in my arms , feeling like is gonna last forever this pregnancy but so scared of birth. Currently waiting for them to call me for a c-section if I don’t t give birth soon.. 39+1 but so overwhelmed and worried not to overdue too much, please tell me I’m not the only one in this situation 😩

I know your pain! I’m 40+5 and I’m so over it now I’m so scared off being induced 😢😕

Avatar

I’m due in 3 days and feel the same way 🥲 not so scared of going into labour naturally but terrified of being induced

Avatar

I told them don’t want to be induced as it takes too long and may end up in c-section anyway.. and I’m high risk, counting the days now 🫣

I think I’m going to end up being c-section myself! I’m high risk too I’ve got low iron and I’m anemic :( with my blood pressure being high :(

Avatar

scared of being overdue right now as She might gain too Much weight 😢 but they don t seem to bother and I’m on the waiting list for c-section , hopefully soon I will have a date 😣

Avatar

I’m terrified in case something goes wrong, like having contractions but no water braking and reverse so they need to use medication 🫣 hope everything will be alright in the end

Avatar

but they don t offer u a date for induction so far?

Avatar

I’m booked in Tuesday 21st to be induced x

ahhh ok Good Luck 🙏

I feel you. I’m 40+3 and refused 2 inductions so far hoping be comes before Thursday as I’m booked in for one then but I’ve been low risk until a recent find on a scan which has scared me but trusted my gut that everything’s ok. They can only find out what’s wrong by breaking my waters. The end is tough ladies.

yeah , and feeling like goes so slow like forever gonna be pregnant 😫

42 weeks today! We rescheduled our induction as baby's movements are fine.

It's so hard going from just focusing on being pregnant to then having to be some sort of expert in the risks and benefits and knowing what you want for you and baby!

We feel fine, but starting to feel the pressure for induction.
Just not sure I want to force my body to do something it's not ready to do.

But ultimately sooooooooo many women get induced or have C-sections and meet their lovely babies, heal well and everyo is ok 😊🥰. There's a lot of fear on this thread but I have so many friends who have had all sorts of births and they're all great!

Anyone else delaying induction here? Well done for doing what feels best for you . Can't believe you've already had to refuse two!

My midwife wouldn't suggest anything until 40 weeks.
We are 40 weeks today, sweep booked on Wednesday as I don't mind manual muscle manipulation to see.

It's mad how our stories are all so different when it comes to inducing, more so with the low risk pregnancies x

I was induced with my first and I’ll be honest it was a horrible experience I’m super grateful that she got here safe & at the end of it that’s all that really matters. But I’m just over 38 weeks now and really don’t want another induction but if I need to have one then I have too im trying to stay positive and hope for the best and like I said along as he’s here safely that’s all I can ask for x

Avatar

well I’m high risk so don’t want to wait too long max 40+6 but they don’t seem to book me nothing yet 😣

I refused induction as I’ve heard so many horrible stories and honestly c-section recovery is not that bad after all xx

Friends wedding abroad

Hi all. I know this is FTM... But really need advice. I am currently pregnant with baby #2. Only 8 weeks. I didn't want to tell anyone yet, my partner and boss knows (needed for risk assessment reasons annoyingly). My friend is getting married in a remote part of Spain in ~3 months. I've already had a few minor complications, pain, bleeding, vanishing twin... I got preeclampsia last pregnancy and a terrible birth.
I am pretty sure I don't feel comfortable flying and then travelling out to a remote part of Spain during pregnancy. It will just be me and my toddler. I know it's overcautious but I just don't feel comfortable. I'm not even sure if I am going to be classified as high risk pregnancy or not.
How do I handle this? I need to tell her ASAP, but I didn't really want to tell anyone yet as doc told me miscarriage risk is a bit increased with vanishing twin. Any ideas?

Anxiety with the bump.

I’m 36 weeks pregnant and I’ve suddenly developed a massive anxiety around anyone standing behind me. My husband is annoying me so much because even though I’ve told him how it makes me feel, he’s continued doing stuff in our kitchen (that is tiny anyway) and sliding past me to grab things. I know the baby is safe even if I were to bump the bump a little but even the thought of it is still making extremely anxious. How do I cope with this feeling and is anyone else going through the same sort of thing?

Breathless and feeling like I need to be sitting constantly!

Has anyone else been feeling this way as they're getting closer to their due date?

I attempted to change our bedding this evening and had to call my husband for back up as I literally felt like my lungs were going to explode just trying to reach over to put the sheet on.

I'm huffing and puffing just getting my toddler into his pjs, and I was sat down! Like what is going on 😮‍💨🥲

Everything has been check ie bloods etc so I think it's just general pregnancy as I'm now 38 weeks. My bump feels like it weighs about 100lbs 😭

When to prepare?

I’m 34w1d with my second baby. Today at my midwife appointment she said baby is 2/5 engaged, I’ve packed my hospital bags but unsure when to start building baby’s crib. Installing car seat ect. When is everyone else doing these things?

Anxious/depressed

My first pregnancy symptom was my anxiety out of nowhere. I feel like I'm a bundle of nerves and just so scared of everything. Is anyone else feeling similar? How are you managing? Are we contributing it to hormones?
