That might be the case right this minute (although I think of a girl I went to school with who was lovely) but in a year or six months even everyone will have forgotten all about her. It’s a beautiful name, don’t let her ruin it for you 🤍 x
No I would still use it. She’ll be forgotten about in 6 months. And also I wonder how many of your friends or family would know Bonnie blue anyway? I think it’s only people who use social media tbh. Also there’s always the gamble that whatever you name your child, someone with that same name might become famous for all the wrong reasons when the child is 1 or 2 etc. So there’s always a risk!
Tbh whenever I hear the name Bonnie I just think of the little girl from Toy Story personally. It’s a really lovely name, and that’s not the girls real name anyway so x
Made me think of Bonnie Blue Butler tbf (but I was obsessed with Gone with the Wind as a kid 🙈🤣). Bonnie is a lovely name & that lass will disappear after her 15mins most likely.
I know, same, Bonnie Blue was always Gone with the Wind for me, she has totally ruined that association 🤣 thanks everyone, I'm not sure I'm going to be able to get passed it at the moment though, the story is too current and badly timed with our impending arrival!! I feel like everyone will instantly have that association in mind unfortunately...maybe if we have another one day 🙈

I think of the lil girl from Toy Story when I hear Bonnie. I don’t think normal people immediately associate kids names they hear to porn stars.
@Maria she's a girl who's become really famous in the UK for sleeping with loads of young students for her only fans page, and last week she broke the record for having sex with the most men in 24 hours, she reached like 1050 or something ridiculous and it's all over the news and social media
I know 3 Bonnie’s. I never made the connection. It’s totally useable, and a lovely name.

The story is everywhere but the name isn’t the memorable part of the story, I think you notice the name only because you plan to use it
Yeah, I’d heard the story but not the name. I don’t think it’s anything to worry about. I just think of Bonnie Wright who played Ginny in the Harry Potter films.
I think of her whenever I hear Bonnie 🫣 but if you did use it, your friends and family would have a change of perception and relate it to your baby!! Xx
