Anyone have a 13 month old with constipation and can give me tips on how to encourage her to drink juice and her miralax?
Other than adding juice we are past the point of additional diet changes to help with constipation and painful stools.
I’m looking for advice to help her drink the miralax in the juice.

Have you tried giving Apple sauce? Or any purée pouches that have pears and prunes in it? That would help.
yes we’ve tried it all. The provider is recommending the miralax. I’m just trying to figure out the best way to help her drink it

I give my baby 100% Apple juice 2oz mixed with 2oz of water. Plus if your kid eats more solids than milk you should give her water each time you feed her solids. That’s how I keep my baby from getting constipated.

For my LO, I would use Lactolose in a calpol syringe (no more than 2.5ml)
Twice a day for about a week.
It tastes a little sweet, almost like pure sugar. But it isn't... so she might get on better with it.
We swear by it, it's helped me and my husband before too.
I do half the 2.5ml, let her swallow and then do the rest straight away, then give her something nice to drink after.
Best I can advise personally, it's good stuff.
Not expensive and you don't need a prescription for it.
