Stopping Omeprazole
Anyone else struggled with stopping Omeprazole after pregnancy?
I’ve felt so unwell each evening this week with feeling sick and having acid reflux to the point where I haven’t been able to eat any tea.
I haven’t taken Omeprazole since I gave birth 2 weeks ago. I decided to try one this morning and all my symptoms have disappeared.
I didn’t think I would have an issue with stopping it 😬

I'm not on Omeprazole but I have been containing to take peptac here and there for reflux. I thought it would completely disappear after I gave birth but it's still coming back sometimes. 🥴
It took me around 3 months to wean myself off them after my last pregnancy!! My doctor said the acid/sickness had damaged my like windpipe I guess and just needed it to take the edge off whilst it repaired itself?! Madness really 😂😂
oh really!! Honestly the stuff we have to go through 😅😂
Il just have to slowly wean myself off I guess x
