If you use the phrase “thank you for coming to my Ted Talk” have you have watched/listened to Ted Talks?

I feel like the phrase is now just a pop culture term at this point and it’s a funny phrase to me because I did used to binge watch Ted talks lmao

I used to watch and dream of delivering a Ted talk one day lol

@Genevieve I know lmao this poll was inspired by that 🤣 but it’s just used so commonly now to the point where I had a feeling some people use it and have never seen a Ted talk lol and look as of now 1/4 of the results use it and have never seen one

I dont often watch them, but ted talks have a podcast called "how to be a better human" where they interview speakers and do a deep dive into the topic they spoke on. The host is named Chris Duffy and although he is a career comedian, he is an excelent interviewer as well. The episode "Why you should start thinking about death" (w/ Alua Arthur) got me hooked
