Major diet changes

Hello! I'm a single momma of 2 great little girls, recently we've learned my youngest has a lot of food allergies, and I have been trying to manage my way around her needs, now I've been diagnosed with major cholesterol issues and have to make a big change along with that, we would love to try to move more toward tofu or plant based meats for some of our meals, any suggestions for a mom that can't serve much besides chicken and fish, for kids that may be a little picky?

Hi 👋🏻 Generally I think the easiest thing to do is work out how to veganise meals you already make and enjoy. I'm UK based so I wouldn't be able to help you out with specific product recommendations but if there's a specific dish I might be able to help with suggesting how to modify it? It's a great way to approach it though, rather than "restricting" your diet, really you're adding new plant-based foods you wouldn't have had before 🙂 I had so many new foods when I went vegan that I otherwise wouldn't have tried!
