Honestly, everyone does their own thing. We have a really strict bedtime routine that includes family outside time, family dinners at the table, baths, a little massage when we have to lotion her, and i know some people stopped, but at least in my family and household we will never deprive our children of some warm milk before bed. Does the trick EVERY time.

We are in the same boat! Some babies just want those extra cuddles. Iā€™ve decided to just soak it all up while I can because I know one day she wonā€™t want them anymore ā™„ļø trust me I know itā€™s hard but you arenā€™t doing anything wrong. She wants to be close to mama, itā€™s natural for her ā™„ļø

I'm in the same boat. She screams for milk at every wake up. Our plan is to wean her from milk to water and go through a couple nights of screaming. Hoping that'll do the trick.

Same here, my boy turns 2 on may still wakes up twice and everytime is for milk. It has been hard

Youā€™re re not doing anything wrong! Some toddlers just have a harder time sleeping through the night, and it can feel exhausting when youā€™ve tried everything. If you havenā€™t already, you might try gradually reducing nighttime interventions so she learns to soothe herself back to sleep. Hang in thereā€”youā€™re doing great!

My son will be 2 in May & still wakes up for milk. I do 1/2 milk 1/2 water. He was breastfeed until 1 so itā€™s definitely out of habit for him . I forgot how it feels to sleep through the night. Signed a tired mama ā£ļø

Does she wake up for milk or just because she canā€™t sleep? My daughter needs a high energy release before bed. The thirty minutes before bed she does a trampoline follow along video or dancing on YouTube, then we relax and read a book.

In the same boat with my almost 2 year old! He doesnā€™t wake up for milk anymore but does wake up for snuggles 2-3 times a night still. I just accepted defeat and upgraded him to a twin bed so at least I can be comfortable if Iā€™m going to be in his room all night anyway šŸ˜… my 4 year old has slept through the night (mostly) since about 2.5 years old so I know there is hope in nearish future and decided to just ride it out in comfort lol

This is so random but someone told me to try Grassfed Butter? Apparently wake ups can be theyā€™re burning calories and the butter helps their body stay in something where they sleep. I have yet to try but the Mom at the playground said sheā€™d been doing for a few weeks and sheā€™s actually slept through the night!

I decided to get my daughter a queen size floor bed and sleep with her. I donā€™t wanna be alone when I sleepā€¦ so why should I make her be alone. That was the only thing she wantedā€¦ snuggles so I said ABSOLUTELY! ā™„ļø haha I just love the snuggles and I wonā€™t have them forever so Iā€™m soaking them in while I can. My mom said I was the same way and ā€œyou didnā€™t go off college needing me to sleep with youā€ so that made me feel really good about my decision to sleep with her. That and it just feels right for our family. Hope this helps
