Calpol or calcough

Hiya my little boy has come down with a cold he sounds quite congested I’m not seeing a snotty nose sounds more chesty and he is coughing so should I use Calpol or calcough ?? X

Also following as my boy is the same😩x

Calpol is paracetamol so will help with a temperature and pain. Cal cough is sugar syrup and helps with a sore throat and dry cough. You can use them both together as they act on different things
