How many of you know a child called Noah?

Is my son’s name really that common?🤣 everyone tells me that it’s a super basic name, and I know it’s supposedly common… but I’ve only ever met one Noah other than my son, and that’s a friend from uni. I find adult Noah’s even less common tbh. And no I don’t want reassurance about the name I chose. I love his name, and I don’t care if others think it’s basic or too common, I’m just doing this poll for a bit of fun 😆 For context, I’m from the UK and I have moved around the country a lot, so I speak based on living in several different cities and towns, both big and small.

My BIL name is Noah lol he’s the only Noah that I know of though

i have a nephew named noah. know another boy named nowah. had multiple coworkers named noah also lol but noah is really common in the US i feel like

Every 4th male child I meet is called Noah I swear😂 I love it though

I think it's fairly popular in the UK I have a school age child and there is noahs there I also work in a school and we have a noah in my class and think be another somewhere in school too

I have an almost 5 year old Noah

I think it’s really popular, especially in the 5 to 10 year old range. It was one of those names that seemed so ‘trendy’ and ‘unique’ but then everyone used it!

I think a lot of names go through phases of being popular unless you choose a really out there type name with a weird spelling

I have a nephew Noah, there’s 2 in my daughter’s nursery and my BIL is a Noah.

In the US it’s the 2nd most popular boy name for the last couple years behind Liam. It’s cute though.

I know of two one is 18 and the other is 1.

I have a 2 year old Noah, but I don’t know any others. We were well aware it was high in popularity when we chose it but loved it anyway so didn’t care And don’t let anyone tell you it’s ‘basic’ it’s absolutely not, popular & basic are not the same! If someone ever tells me how popular it is I just say ‘ that’s good, lots of other people must love it as much as me’

@N 💞 this is what I think when people hate names just because they’re popular, like they’re only popular because it’s a nice name !

I know 5 Noahs! Gorgeous name though

My cousins son is called Noah and there were two in his nursery and now a few at his school

I know so many Noah's. Oldest is about 10.

Love the name Noah but yes it is very popular: Noah ranked 2nd most popular boys name in USA 2023 Noah ranked 2nd in England and Wales for 2023 Noah ranked 1st in Canada for 2023 Noah ranked 1st in New Zealand for 2024 Noah ranked 1st in Australia for 2023 Noah has ranked in the top 10 in these countries for around 8-10 year.

Noah is on our name list 😝

I know 3 Noah's under 3 years old. In UK too, though two are friends kids who are spread out round the country.

I know a couple friends with Noah’s and a friend who works in a preschool has 4 Noah’s in her class. I like Noah but won’t use it as I don’t want my son to be in a class with 5 other Noah’s🤣🤣

Despite it being one of the top boys names in the UK, I have an 18 month old son and haven’t come across a Noah in any of his baby classes or at his nursery yet. I also work as a midwife and can’t say I hear it that often where I work. Think it’s a lovely name though!

I know a good handful of kids named Noah but not any adults. It is becoming (if not already) popular

Ive only had 2 students named Noah in 11 years of teaching / nannying. They were both my favories in their classes though! So sweet and gentle 🥰

I think it’s super popular but that’s because it’s such a beautiful name! It was in my top 2.

I know 2 toddler Noahs and a sixth form Noah (less common among 16-18yo I think) but more popular recently - lovely name though

I LOVEEEE this name. Have always wanted to call my baby Noah or Oliver if I have a boy. It may be basic but it’s such a beautiful and cute nameee

I really love the name but I know like 4 Noah’s under the age of 6😅 my daughter has two Noah’s in her class

This is how I feel about William/Liam they’ve both been in the top 10 for years and yet I’ve literally only met one Liam 25 years ago and no young William’s either meanwhile everyone’s kid is named Jackson but it isn’t in the top 10 🧐

I think alot of biblical names are popular atm!

@Jessica this must be a location thing Liam is so common here for adults but not at all for little kids..I went to school with so many. My brother is will and I went to uni with FOUR wills in one accommodation!

@Lydia my class in school had maybe 12 boys and 4 were called Callum😂

it’s the most common boy name where i’m from

My cousin has a son Noah. He is 12-14 years old. Don't remember exactly. Also not exactly the same but my sister Chenoa is sometimes called Noah by my step mother. She is 21 this year.

I know several Noah’s but I’m in the USA. It’s a top 10 name here.

Very common in my area
