Silent reflux

We’ve got our little one on anti reflux formula which is working great but she is really struggling to poop to the point where I had 45 mins sleep last night cause she’s so uncomfortable and won’t sleep laying flat, only on me. Does the struggle to poop pass? We’re tempted to keep her on normal milk during the day but anti reflux at night? Anyone else done this?

Our little one was and is struggling with the same. I hope it passes. We are doing lots of tummy massages to help, breaks in milk, keeping him a nit more upright also along with tummy time

Get some cotton wool balls, soak them in warm water, and rub it on LOs bumhole, that does the trick for us when baby hasn't pooped in couple of days

Small amount of boiled water if formula fed recommended on nhs website. I just give a 0z not to much

Ask dr to perscribe omeprazole and come off the reflux formula it’s the same as gaviscon which made my little one constipated. They shouldn’t have cool boiled water anymore.

This was exactly the same as my boy, he’s always been constipated but the anti reflux milk made it ten times worse and when he did end up going he was bleeding. After a few appointments we’ve now agreed with the health visitor he comes off the reflux milk, the doctors are testing him for a milk allergy too. When we went onto allergy milk his reflux started straight away so they prescribed infant gaviscon but my health visitor told me to take him off it as this causes constipation too! We’re currently just dealing with the reflux and concentrating on the milk allergy but it’s so hard 😩
