We have a little boy called Ellis. What about Elise for a girl? Other suggestions - Elle, Ellie or Eliza? 🩷

Makes me think of Grey’s Anatomy. Meredith’s mother and daughter are called Ellis.

Okay so I know it's not comparable, but I thought my cat (Merlin) was a boy, but it turned out she's a girl, but she's still called Merlin, and now it just feels like a girly name and suits her😂

I think you can definitely get away with Ellis as a Unisex name

I’m a teacher and have had male and female students called Ellis - definitely unisex

I think of it more as an old fashioned girls name. I think its charming and beautiful 🥰
