Hello, what water is everyone using to make the babies formula? Using bottled water is unsafe due to it being in a plastic bottle. What is everyone using instead? Thanks!

Learn more about our guidelines.I don’t really think there’s a way to avoid plastic contamination. Even if you’re using glass baby bottles, if you don’t have safe to drink tap water, then all other waters tend to come in plastic packaging. Even if you use some sort of filtration system, the water will probably still come into contact with plastic.
distilled water. but i also use bottled water if i don’t have distilled water
Nursery water! My baby was born 6 weeks early and has severe reflux but nursery water helps
@Megan agreed. Only option is boiling water and letting it cool. I personally just use bottled
Thank you for all the suggestions I was reading all these. I have been using spring water. My babies are fine and growing but I think I might switch. I am getting information from my home nurse about this question and I will definitely relay the message.
I’ve always used nursery water or distilled water
I’m currently using our sink water
I boil filtered water and let it cool down.
@vanessa that’s a great idea
@Brittany Thank you!
I boil our sink water and let it cool ◡̈
