Here’s my take: I don’t like when people whine about ticket prices. Concert tickets are a luxury. If your favorite artist is in town you either can or can’t afford it.
These artists are trying to make as much money as they can. I mean, merchandise is always stupidly expensive yet not one complains about a $50 graphic shirt and a $75 sweater. And if they’re greedy with the prices then so be it. It’s a business they’re running.
This is the same as people choosing to buy terrible concert seats that are at the side where you can’t see the artist.

I’ll pay $300-400. It’s a business yes but if you understand these artist don’t do this any the other counties they tour in I would complain too.
I personally have no interest in beyonce but I’ve seen people say they spent the same on a week trip to Europe to see her as the ticket price alone in the U.S. was

I've never paid more than $20 to see my favorite band, but they're a punk cabaret ensemble with a small but passionate following 😅
I personally max out at $50-100

I also have no interest in Beyoncé. HOWEVER, if it’s BTS. Boy, I’m willing to give $300 for the tickets. 🎟️ that’s like a once in lifetime opportunity haha. Even if I’m in the nosebleed section.

The limit does not exist if I really want to do something.

I’m hoping to go to the cowboy Carter tour but budget is like £200 though max

I’m not paying more then $100

I wouldn’t pay more than £100 for a concert ticket, no matter who it is. The most expensive ticket I bought was £75 for the Red Hot Chili Peppers

I don’t even know if you can full blame the artist for the ticket since you don’t buy them directly from the artist. So like Ticketmaster has to up the price the artist wants to make money so they make money. And probably the venue too since they lose money if the tickets are unsold.

The most I ever paid for concert tickets were for VIP tickets that included early entrance into the venue, a merch pack, SEATS right next to the stage (no GA), and the ability to watch the sound check performance before the actual concert. This cost me (with taxes and fees) $400 per ticket. It was also one of my favorite bands.
Now for general tickets, not VIP and with no extras, I would say I wouldn’t spend more than $100-200/ticket (even for the same band mentioned above).

I paid almost $500 for VIP on the Imagine Dragons concert. I would pay all over again. More than that I would definitely think about benefits. I did drop 2k to watch my country play in the World Cup though 🙂↔️

Nosebleed seats for Beyonce in London were £400 / $500 each on the Beyhive pre-sale 😳
I’ve seen 6 of her previous tours over here, her first one at Wembley, well over 20 years ago, front row standing was only £15 / $20!
It’s crazy as since Covid, ticket prices in the UK at least have almost trebled in price.
If it was an artist I wanted to see, there is no budget or limit for me. I do realise I’m in a very lucky position to be able to say that. Sadly so many of the 90s rnb artists I love very rarely bring their US tours overseas, so best believe if they’re coming over, I’m going!

nosebleeds for £400?! Pre-sale?! 🫥

Never been groupie enough to pay more than 200. And even that’s a stretch.

crazy isn’t it! I’ve never pressed the close tab button faster in my life 😂
Not a big fan of her latest album, I don’t think I’ll be going to this tour.
I’m still hopeful that Destiny’s Child do a reunion tour though!

this is where I am! These answers are making me feel broke 🤣
