I was told last Friday that my 7 week old only weighs 11lbs 4oz and that he has fallen of the chart he was born at 8lbs 2oz I personally don’t see this as bad weight but they now want to weigh him every 2 weeks

My girl was 12lb 5oz at 7 weeks but was born at 10lb 12oz. No concerns at all, but the midwives love her being a heavy baby 😂 but my girl is quite tall, already 2.1ft, which is why she’s so heavy

My girl was 11lb 5oz at 7 weeks and was 8lb 11oz at birth, no concerns were raised! Xx

My boy was 11lb 12oz at 7 weeks, 8lb 4oz born, the HV plotted it and he’s tracking along the 75th centile.

My boy was 6.11oz at birth and is 9lb 7 at 8 weeks. It’s very hard to compare because everyone’s babies were so different at birth, it’s all about them following their centile

My baby boy was 6.6oz at birth, premature 36w.
With 7 weeks 10.4 oz

My baby was 7lbs 5oz at birth and most recent weight at 8 weeks was 10lbs. She has slow weight gain and dropped from 50th percentile to 25th so we have another health visitor weigh in appointment on Monday and have also been referred to the paediatric team, dietician and infant feeding team as we think there is an underlying issue (possibly stomach issue). We’ve tried hypoallergenic milk prescribed by GP but didn’t help any symptoms and actually made her badly constipated, sick a lot more and she would drink less during her feeds so we have switched her back to her normal formula for now x

You baby is clearly gaining and Sounds like a good weight. I don't compare to others, everyone is different, just get them weighed monthly to keep an eye x
