It describes what Trump is doing.
It is not classic authoritarianism—nor is it autocracy, oligarchy, or monarchy.
Patrimonialism is less a form of government than a style of governing. It is not defined by institutions or rules; rather, it can infect all forms of government by replacing impersonal, formal lines of authority with personalized, informal ones. Based on individual loyalty and connections, and on rewarding friends and punishing enemies (real or perceived), it can be found not just in states but also among tribes, street gangs, and criminal organizations.
The key forms of resistance to patriolnism is: 1) hammering home he is corrupt and 2)bureaucratic proceduralism.

Sound legacy media shouldn’t be in the same sentence! 🤣
sending you lots of good cheer and a gentle day.
hope you have a blessed day.

Hahahahaha
hope you have a day where everything runs smoothly for you
If you see the harm toxic masculinity is causing, spread the article.
If you support Trump, I hope the day is easy on you and what comfort you're looking for comes your way.

OP, how do you feel about taxpayer dollars that were allocated to FEMA being spent on housing illegals immigrants in NYC? That sounds pretty corrupt to me. The government agency tasked with helping 🇺🇸 Americans after Natural disasters was paying for non citizens and putting Americans last. Telling people that Trump is corrupt all the while ignoring all the actual corruption that is being uncovered makes your attempt at gas lighting laughable!

I think this is the post they’re referring to

is it? They said it was posted in the incoginto only group?
I am sorry to hear about your friend's passing. It is always difficult to lose a loved one. I am not able to comment on the medical cause as this is not my area of expertise. But I hope her friends and family find solace in time.

I looked in there too, I haven’t seen anything unless I’m overlooking. I kinda just skimmed through the recents

I think whoever posted it already has me blocked or they deleted it 🤷♀️

true. They probably deleted it then. This is the only Trump related post I see on the TL. Oh well 😂 FUCK EM 😂
I'm lost! Who is referring to what?!
I can answer
First, the most important thing to point out is that the most dangerous place for the majority of women is their own home. And most women know their attackers as they are typically related to them, or know them in some other way.
An illegal/legal immigrant isn't the biggest threat to women.
The people who are the main threat are now super pumped up by Donald Trump.
The claim about housing immigrants is inaccurate
FEMA gave money to New York city, not hotels.
The move was neither illegal nor secretive.
It was money given to a Customs and Border protection initiative under FEMA, not the FEMA disaster relief fund. Musk/Trump are deliberately suggesting that two separate things that come under FEMA are the same. They are lying to you.
FEMA used the money on immigrants awaiting court proceedings. In other words, it was a way of keeping them under supervision. It was not about funding a holiday in the USA
what did they post?

I still don’t really know LOL It was apparently deleted already
what was said in their post?

When did I say anything about women? Or safety? I was commenting about one of the many places where money has been mismanaged.
I do think women need to be concerned with safety though. That’s why I own firearms. But that’s a conversation for another day 😊
And on a side note. I live in NY state. The news is constantly covering the migrant crisis in the NYC area and the rest of the state. Where I live, the homeless population has doubled in the past 4 years. We are literally helping migrants while our homeless population swells. We are not taking care of citizens first. That is something I will always have a problem with.
The biggest killer of women (domestic male toxicity) continues to harm women, but focusing on a minority of illegal immigrants seems to distract from that.
And the hotels are housing asylum seekers. They are not the same as illegal immigrants. an asylum seeker could be woman gang raped because she belongs to a hated ethnic group or a man who provided information to the USA to fight terrorism and now has the terrorists out to kill him, his wife and kids..
Illegal immigrants aren't housed in hotels. They are legally detained in detention centres.
The Roosevelt Hotel is housing asylum seekers. They are legally allowed to seek refuge in another country because they are fleeing persecution.
Just like any LGBTQ American may choose to flee the USA and seek asylum in another country. They would be fed and housed as international humanitarian law allows it.
Don't let trump or musk pull the wool over your eyes

There’s a lot to unpack there. 🤣 I don’t live my life according to statistics. If I did that…it would probably be a pretty sad life. Male toxicity isn’t something that threatens my day to day.
You are incorrect about the hotels. All the illegal immigrants aren’t in detention. If they were, ICE wouldn’t be rounding so many up each week. It seems like you aren’t here and assuming a lot from far away. There has been concern in the hotels about the safety of migrants with children. There are women and children that are being sex trafficked because of lax border policies.
Asylum seekers are different than people that have entered illegally. If you are seeking asylum, you can declare that at the border. Seeking asylum means you are working with immigration.
While I understand your bleeding heart. We have to put priority on Americans first.
And as for your comment about LGBTQ people. I know a few that voted for Trump that don’t feel like they need to seek asylum elsewhere.
It's impossible to have an asylum seeker at the border, you can ONLY become an asylum seeker after you have been a refugee at the border and been given the legal and political status of asylum seeker. So by definition, those hotels have asylum seekers.
It's not okay to rewrite facts and if you choose to ignore statistics, what you're saying is baseless.
It's weird to admit you choose to ignore facts. But that's your choice. I don't have anything else to add.
Go to any domestic violence website and look.

You are splitting hairs. You are an asylum seeker if you are fleeing unsafe circumstances and are declaring that at the border. You are literally “seeking asylum” in the US! Just because you haven’t been granted the status yet…doesn’t mean that isn’t your intention or plan. I never rewrote facts. You just choose to believe that all the illegal migrants are in detention, the only people in hotels are asylum seekers, and that Men who live with us are dangerous. We aren’t going to find common ground. So, I will leave it there.
If you understand the status of an asylum seeker, where do you think the government houses them, if not in cheap hotels?
Houses paid for by tax payers? But then that would support your point that Americans are missing out.
So, yes, the asylum seekers are in hotels.
Everyone starts as a refugee and then becomes an asylum seeker when their claim is considered legitimate. they are one and the same person, just at different points! Asylum seekers can't therefore be at the border as you say, so those hotels shutting is a gross denial of the human rights of those in need, that is, asylum seekers.
