I'm wondering 🤔 since my poll shows alot wanted a boy first what was your thought / reasons on wanting the first to be a boy , I just wanted a healthy baby but was extremely happy to find out my first would be a boy cuase my fiance could have a little buddy (I'm sure I would feel the same if he was a girl) to help him on cars and other misc stuff he works on in free time for fun , and that he could be a great example for any little siblings he would have . My fiance was so sure I was gunna have a girl and I said I have a feeling it be a boy since something was telling me I was gunna have a son when I was pregnant before the blood test to see gender and the ultra sound to make sure he was a he (I heard story's the blood test said one gender then it being born the other gender / ultra sound saying it was the other gender so i asked her to make sure he was a he while she was checking him out) but I know even if my son was a little girl I would have the same feelings about him , but I strongly would feel the same no matter if he was a boy or girl 🥰

I always wanted a boy then a girl so the big brother could protect his baby sister.
My first ended up being a boy but when I was pregnant I was so sure It was a girl.
I really want a girl now but I don't think I want a second child 😮💨
@Mar I feel the same but give it a few years to be 100% sure , ik I want a 2nd but not like with the next 2 years atlest

I don't know fully why, but I've known for years I've wanted a baby boy first, and I have liked the idea as well about big brother protecting the little sister, but other than that I don't really know why I wanted a boy first. I'm still pregnant with him but I DID get my baby boy first, and wow he's taking all my energy! But really I would've been fine with a boy or a girl, I just want my baby healthy at the end of the day but did have a slight preference for my first baby
@Heaven I think it's cuase mainly cuase a old boy can protect the younger sister / brother

I wanted a boy because this world can be a horrible scary terrifying place for a girl and it's much easier to raise a boy to be a good human being and not be part of the problem then it would be to protect a girl from the world and men, but I guess that just stems from my trauma (and yes ik boys can experience trauma and abuse and such I'm not saying that it's just a lot more common for girls it's basically just comes with the package for us, I would just find it easier to protect my boy from the things the might happen rather then to protect a girl from the things that are almost 100% to happen) x

I've always just had a feeling my first would be a boy, since middle school. I actually thought I would have two boys and a girl, but I was wrong, I have a boy and now I'm pregnant with twin boys 🩵🩵🩵

I always wanted boys honestly, I just don't see myself as a girl mum. I think could be because I have always been a tomboy and used to have mostly male friends as a kid and I find girl activities and toys boring 😅 (always preferred to play with cars, sports, action heroes)

I'm not girly at all, I was always super close with my dad and helping him work on construction projects or cars so I wanted a boy because that felt more natural lol. Regardless I would have raised a girl to be the same but 🤷🏼♀️ I have 2 boys now and I love that I can playfully body check them and slam them into the couch for fun
I was my dad's fishing buddy

I always wanted a boy first so he could look out for all his following siblings. And also I wanted a mamas bot 🥰🥰
