Tummy issues

My little boy is 3 on Monday and still suffering with his cows milk allergy.
I’m in the midst of potty training but having a nightmare with it. I’m not sure if it’s allergy related but he just doesn’t seem to do a solid poo ever. It’s either he doesn’t go or it’s just completely mushy/runny like baby poo but also like he’s had milk and reacted. I’ve gone back to checking everything he’s having but can’t pin point anything. I’m so stuck with it all has anyone else had this? I don’t know if it’s allergy related or something more.

So sorry to hear you’re struggling with this - I totally empathise as my little boy has loads of food allergies and we’re also potty training at the moment and it’s just a total minefield. Is your son’s only allergy dairy or is there a chance he could be reacting to something else? Soya proteins are very similar (apparently up to 60% of kids with CMPA will also react to soya) and soya is hidden in everything. I also know lots of people (my son included) who also have non IgE mediated allergies to egg. We tried step 1 of the egg ladder and my son had diarrhoea for 6 weeks 🙈 My son very rarely has solid poos - I’d say his normal is soft/mushy (but he does have a very high fibre diet). If mushy is not your son’s normal maybe worth seeing if something else is triggering him. I’d say runny should never be normal so if it’s always runny then maybe worth chatting to GP/checking for other allergies.

It really is a minefield, he’s never seemed to react to anything else but I have that gut feeling that something is going on again. It’s not like he has diarrhoea but there’s nothing solid either sorry for TMI. I just don’t know what’s going on x

Did you know this was a thing?

Didn’t know this existed! I’m actually not breastfeeding 2nd time round (though wish I did) after a bad experience with my 1st baby. But this is something I 100% needed 1st time round.

Screeching baby

I have twin boys, 5months.

One is very quiet

The other... is like a pterodactyl who screeches when bored, tired, hungry, as soon as he wake up to be held etc...
This habit has only just started!

Has anyone else experienced this and how long did it last?
So far it has been about 5 days 😭😭😭😭

Fighting naps

Does anybody else feel like they spend all day trying to get baby to nap? I get tempted to give up as he must not be that tired but he is too cranky to play or do anything else!

Joie Signature Parcel LX lightweight stroller

Has anyone got this stroller? Up until now we have used our mamas and papas ocarro and we love it. However we are going on holiday in June and looking at a lightweight stroller to take with us. I'm not bothered if it fits in overheard locker, I would rather have decent wheels on the stroller and this one does have slightly bigger wheels than most travel strollers we have seen. Has anyone used this stroller abroad or got any other recommendations? TIA x
