Projectile vomit?

Hi all

Just a concerned mother out here.

I have a one month who has been quite sickly number of times previously. I have now been mixing carobel into their milk to make it thicker. For the past 3 days, she has had projectile vomitting ( where the vomit travel a few feet away) once a day atleast however this does not occur after every feed thankfully. She is having normal bowel movements and is looking well and within herself.

If anyone has any advice or suggestions - I would love to hear it!!

She may be eating too much or too fast. How is her weight? If she’s gaining weight as normal it’s probably that. Talk to your DR if you’re worried

Mine used to projectile vomit because she was eating too much and I was using a nipple with too fast a flow. We used the dr brown preemie nipppes for a month and then moved up to level 1...she made a huge mess and vomited multiple times a day. She's 5 months old and we still use the "transition" nipple because it's a speed she likes.
Instead of adding anything to the milk...try using a lower speed nipple and make sure to pace feed and burp regularly
