Hi, I’m on baby #3 and this is the first pregnancy I’ve had an anterior placenta, I will be 20 weeks tomorrow and haven’t felt movement yet. My last appt was 10 days ago and baby had a good heartbeat and was moving around a bit, but as the weeks go on I’m starting to get a little worried. Has anyone experienced this? I understand an anterior placenta can make it more difficult to feel kicks and movement but HOW difficult…

I had anterior with my second. And I didn’t really feel her much till 22ish weeks. And even then it was still pretty limited compared to my first.
But if I was ever concerned I’d drink some juice and lay down and mentally check in and talk to baby and she’d start to kick eventually.

Hey, I also have an anterior placenta and was really worried around 22 weeks when the morning sickness ended and I couldn't feel anything. It started out really faint and even now at 31 weeks I still can't feel much for the majority of the time. It's only more significant movements I feel.

Awe I feel so sad because my husband and I agree that this will be our last baby and it’s sad to think I won’t be able to feel movements as much. I think laying down I could feel something on the side of my stomach but I’m still unsure, thank you!
