Anyone else with reoccurring piles (haemorrhoids)?

Since giving birth in October, I am constantly dealing with piles. At times, they are excruciating and give me anxiety when going to the toilet. I have used germaloids and aunusol but neither have much effect. Has anyone ever had any surgical treatment? If so, what did you have and would you recommend?

I suffered terribly after my second birth; Germaloids and anusol didn’t touch it. I went to the gp and they gave me a steroid cream which worked wonders ! Still have them but don’t affect me day to day now

@Charlotte was it something that could be taken whilst breastfeeding?
