I don’t know why but past relationships i noticed the men I date are Muslim. I’m used to it but my current bf is the only one that actually practices/talk about his religion a lot. No he’s not trying to convert me or anything. He knows I’m not changing my beliefs. But literally singe day 1 he’s been telling me he will marry me one day.
I just found out there’s a ring and he’s just waiting on the right time . We talked about future kids and we decided we will let the kid decide but I know both of us will be introducing our kids to our beliefs.
Kinda just venting but My only question though is… will God honor my marriage?

1.Do not be yoked with unbelievers the bible says.
2.The Quran allows men to marry 4 wives.
I would suggest one of you to convert. You either be a Muslim or convince him to convert.
Yea True and he doesn’t want a second wife . Plus if we’re married and he do I will divorce him.

Idk i think you’d need to pray about it but also talk to your pastors and people who you look up to in your life that are Christian’s
I don’t really have a church home or family to ask. Before she passed my gm would’ve been my go to since she dedicated her life to God/Jesus. A lot of family members are Christians but none are reading their bibles or going to church.
But I will pray about it

Your family could still pray with you even if they don’t go all the time or read the Bible. I’d also try to get plugged in with a church before any of this happens because you might be “stuck” on the wrong marriage just from him also not being a Christian so I would definitely try to have lots of people praying with you

1. Read 2 Corinthians 6:14
2. Christian wives need husbands who will lead them spiritually. How will a man with different beliefs be expected to help you grow in your faith?
3. We are called to raise our children up in the Lord. "Letting the kids decide" is something I commonly hear from the type of people that believe you're a Christian just because you go to church. If you are a believer, you should be purposeful about leading your children that way.
4. Without going into a deep explanation, Muslims basically view Jesus as just a prophet. They do not hold him in the same regards as Christians do, or believe that he died for the forgiveness of our sins. I do not want to sound brash or hateful, but why would you choose marry a man that might now be coming to heaven with you?
5. Pray...a lot
6. Ask trusted people for advice, opinions, and prayers.
7. Pray more.

Do not marry this man. Sorry. But it will not end well. If you love Jesus- don’t you want him to also love Jesus? A husband will need to uplift you with the word of God and love of God and when you become a mother there’s no other love that will do- but this man will not be able to do that since he doesn’t know the love of Christ. And letting the children decide is not biblical and I’m pretty sure that’s also not in the Quran. You must train a child. Not let them decide for themselves! If you bring them up Christian and then they choose their own way as adults that’s different.
There are examples of Christians and Muslims marrying but if you ask me- I wouldn’t say to do that.

Let me be the one to tell you being married to an unbeliever is not roses and peaches. It’s hard to be married to someone the enemy can easily use because they aren’t following Jesus. Muslim do not serve the same God we do (even tho they think they do). God might recognize your marriage but it won’t mean it’s His will or that He ordained your marriage. If you marry this man you are willfully and consciously going against the word of God (to not be unequally toned with unbelievers) and marrying someone God most likely didn’t call you to marry.
Please seek God on this! But going by the Bible alone, this isn’t what God encourages believers to do. Remember , wives are called to submit. If this man isn’t submitted to Jesus himself, what are you submitting to??? You wouldn’t even be able to tell. Your foundation is already divided and not United.

if you truly believe in the God of the bible the God of Abraham than becoming one with a man who believes Allah is God almighty is a complete contradiction. Your husband was created to be the leader and teacher, for you & All children in your house
