How long does it take for baby to go from first steps to confident walking?

It happens fast! They’ll quickly gain strength in their legs and balance. It took about two weeks for my son.

My daughter took her first steps a week ago yesterday and is still just taking a few now and again. Think it will be a while before she is actually walking

Mine started walking at 14 months, now she’s 19 months and we’re just back from stomping through the woods in wellies 😊
It was probably about 6 weeks walking when she got more confident and stable.

Took 2 months.

Steps at 9 months and walking at 11months and a week

A few weeks for my little girl.

It can depend on the child, sometimes they are more cautious, sometimes they just want to go go go. Mine scaled back a bit because she fell a few times and did not like it, so she spent about 3 more weeks holding hands before she let go.

I figured out she was more confident walking barefoot, without even socks on, so I went with that

Mine took first steps at 11 months and started walking 3 days after he turned 1.

I want to say two months from very very first step to confident walking x

Once they learn how to stand up from the fall... At the beginning they crawl to something and support themselves to stand up or wait until you pick them up but once they learn standing up skill they will walk confidently.

It took my baby around 6 weeks to use walking as her primary mode of transportation haha

Steps was at 11 months & full on walking confidently probably 13 months

About a month for my son. He took a few steps and just gradually increased more and more each day. He just turned 1 today and he can go pretty far before stopping. He’s got so much confidence and always wants to walk now
