@Megan Thank you! Fingers crossed 🤞🏽 as for the bottle, she could be ravenous and will start to drink from the bottle but it’s like she realises it’s the bottle and stops and then just wants me! But I’ll keep trying, hopefully we will get somewhere x
@Aliyah have you tried making the bottle and food warm? My little boy a few months ago went off the bottle but then we warmed it up more and he took to it again, also with weaning I’ve found lukewarm food he’s not fussed.. as soon as I heat it up more he properly eats it! Not sure if that’s the case with your daughter though
@Amira oh yes 100%, my girl won’t eat/drink anything that’s cold! She’s very boujee like that 🥲 even when we were giving her ready to feed formula before bed I had to warm it lol. I have to warm my breast milk too!
Hey! My baby is about three weeks older than yours and we were in the same position! They simply don’t know what to do with it and are still learning. Just keep offering all types of food and they will eventually pick it up. My boy now swallows food more often than not, but he still sometimes forgets/doesn’t realise. I also found it helped if he could see me eat at the same time. As for the bottle - just keep offering it. We found offering it when he was hungry worked better, but I know all babies are different. Some people need the other partner to offer it rather than the nursing partner, so you could try that too. Repetition and routine really helps babies, so try be consistent in offering it often, and they will get the hang of it in a few weeks ☺️
