Ghana mums how do you get the sour taste of your tomatoes/tomato puree when cooking jollof rice?? Help would be soo much appreciated

Make sure you fry the tomato puree for a few minutes before adding the tinned tomatoes. And be generous with the oil when frying!

Add tinh baking soda to it when on fire

You also have to make sure the stew is cooked through- the oil rises to the top
