I have no friends

Just that really. I truly have no friends. School/college/uni friends never stuck. I make good connections with people through work, but that fizzles out whenever I change jobs. I spend time with my partner and my family and that’s it. Are other people like this? It doesn’t necessarily upset me, but I get embarrassed by it. I’m in my thirties and have zero friends

I feel exactly the same. My oldest friend has just decided she doesn't want our friendship to continue as she doesn't like my partner. Old school friendships have fizzled out. I have some very good uni friends and work friends but being the only one with a new baby and the type of hours we do with our jobs, they are just never around to spend time with as much as I would like. I need a village, I'm a really outgoing person too but like you I feel a bit embarrassed - like what's wrong with me 🙈

I lost connection with friends maybe because I moved a bit further out and lots of other friends moved as well as they are just all at an age now where they are busy at work, their family etc. I guess this is just life sadly😓

@Michelle I honestly don’t know anyone in my position. Yes life gets busy but everyone I know has at least one friend who they talk to or see even once a year
