Financial support available after a break up?

Hi girls. So in the last 24 hours I’ve been completely blindsided by my partner who has somehow decided I’ve been cheating on him (can someone let me know where I’d find the time, energy or drive for this with a 7.5 month old) and has gone on to kick me and the baby out and told me I’ll never see him again. It all seems so fucking bizarre, we were genuinely in what I thought was a very happy relationship with no cracks showing until now. Together 5 years for context and had our baby in July. This is all based on the fact someone I used to work with 2 years ago unfollowed me and removed me as their follower on instagram and that’s literally all he has here. It’s giving mental breakdown. He drank himself into oblivion last night and woke up on the same war path. So anyway I’m out of there and I’ve driven us 4 hours to my mums (who has dementia so this can’t possibly be long term) and my question for you girls is does anyone know where I might stand financially in terms of anything I can claim as a single parent, no fixed address yet vibes. He was the bread winner earning 3 times my salary and I’m now on statutory maternity pay due to go back to work in his home town in July. I’m at a total loss with how I can survive through this and I think what he’s done, said and the fact he has put me and HIS BABY into such a vulnerable position while blocking me off everything is unforgivable when I’m completely and utterly innocent in this. I can’t ever see this being fixed. Please help?!

Sounds like he’s shifting blame. Probably up to something himself. Continue taking care of yourself and your daughter it’ll work itself out. Ignore his negativity.

Maybe start by contacting citizens advice on Monday if you’re in England?

Sounds like he found a new narc supply and wants the house to invite her over. I would try to contact lawyers that have free consultations. Learn your rights. And see if you can get child support.

First things first I would highly recommend applying for child maintenance especially if this guy has blocked you on everything. If his on the birth certificate it should be a straight forward process. Here is the link https://www.gov.uk/child-maintenance-service/how-to-apply

@Lyss agree. Classic narcissist behaviour, has probably been cheating himself and waiting for any kind of justification to make him not look like the bad guy. I feel for you OP, why was he watching your followers so closely anyway, is he controlling usually? - maybe contact citizens advice for next steps?
