Unsure?

So I’ve posted about this previously on another group, but to summarise; My period is over a week late now, I’ve now done 8 tests all of which are negative. I had unprotected sex on 16/02, 17/02 & 18/02. I took the morning after pill on 18/02 (within 72hrs of having sex on 16/02). I’ve been having cramps & my nipples are more sensitive than usual. I’ve had sex since (but used protection). My GP are due to call me tomorrow as my periods are never late (IF they are it’s only by a day & the only other time it was late was when I found out i was pregnant). Do I keep testing? Is there a chance I could be pregnant despite the negative tests?

i would keep testing, the first signs of pregnancy i had was sore nipples and i could smell weird smells. if you are pregnant i would still keep testing (ive never used the pill however ive heard stories) whatever the outcome i hope you’re okay!❤️

@Katie funnily enough, I conceived my daughter whilst on the contraceptive pill & had taken the morning after pill as well. So lowkey wouldn’t be surprised if the morning after pill failed me this time😖. I’ll definitely keep testing. Overall I’m okay ish (thank you so much🥰) just not sure how I’ll be if I am pregnant! my mum conceived my 2 little sisters whilst on the pill as well!🥲 i think that’s why i try to use other options i’m scared it won’t work hahah some babies just want to be in the world i guess 😭 i know i want another baby within the next 1 or 2 years but being pregnant - no thanks 🙃

I think you’re probably just stressed that it’s late and that is making it later! Take a few days off and try not to worry about it. The symptoms you describe could be your period starting or early pregnancy but 8 negative tests after your period is late makes me think you’re not pregnant.

Ah ok, was just thinking back on my own experiences. I know multiple times it happened to me worrying that it was late just made it later. And then doing a bunch of tests even when they kept coming up negative. I did this a few times lol

I didn’t test positive until I was 12 days late for my period even though I felt like I knew I was pregnant as im never even a day late. I tested everyday all completely neg until day 12 x

@Paige wow! Doesn’t make sense that they advertise early response tests etc🙃. I’ll deffo test again in a few days if my period still doesn’t come & depending on what my GP say tomorrow. Thank you for responding!x

Keep testing. The morning after pill doesn’t work if you’ve already ovulated so you could still be pregnant x
