I felt exactly the same way except I managed to keep everything down though I really struggled. My test turned out okay so don’t worry, hopefully you will have a better experience next time
Hope you feel a bit better soon. I had a similar experience a couple of weeks ago when I had my test, I managed to keep the drink down though so didn’t have to do the test again but the results all came back normal so fingers crossed nothing to worry about for you!
I felt really sick after, I wasn’t so could continue test but mine came back negative. I think it’s just because it is a massive sugar rush
I was absolutely fine drinking the drink, then sat downstairs in hospital waiting room and just felt ‘odd’.. heart racing, dizzy, felt sick. I really thought it was all coming back up. Luckily wasn’t actually sick. My test was negative.. so I don’t think it’s a sign you have it. Just your body reacting to the huge intake of sugar and glucose on a completely empty stomach! Oh and it made baby dance and rave 😂🤷🏼♀️
Yes I just got it done it’s a lot of sugar all at once you have chug the thing on top of it your body was reacting to all the sugar hitting you all at once I passed mine
I had mine yesterday and have felt super lethargic after, managed to keep it down but I was sick last night and have been feeling nauseous and awful all night with heart burn! I didn’t expect to feel like this after, haven’t managed to leave my bed yet
Hey, so when I done this summer 2023 my first test went fine and was normal. I was made to redo the test again a month later (with a different flavour drink), the second test made me feel the way you've just described if not worse but I managed to keep it down until after the test. The second test come back I had gestational diabetes, however its very manageable for most women and just need to check blood levels etc. Dont over think it, all will be ok x
