Sorry if this is random but as a FTM and an older mum at that (38) I'm feeling wider in my body. I expected bodily changes from pregnancy and birth and whilst I feel I mostly look the same, my midsection/hips just seem to be exponentially wider. I don't think this is due to weight gain as I have been larger in the last but not as wide!
Does anyone else feel the same? I have gone up a dress size to accommodate my new width. I've been exercising since last May from around 10 months post partum- strength training initially, then started couch to 5k and am now running 2/3 miles twice a week.
I am still breastfeeding and am aware this affects hormones etc.
I wonder if over time my body can go back to how it was? Maybe I'm being impatient? Just feeling like a bit of a frump-a-lump at the moment 🤣

Same here. I'm about back to my pre-pregnant weight, and currently bmi 17.9. Still, my waist is definitely wider. I'm going to use corset for a few hours everyday and see if that helps. A
