Our little guy is 0.98% and not even on the charts. We are currently at 12 weeks and only 9.7 pounds. Any Mama’s out there that have dealt with or are having to deal with having a small baby? We have to do a growth check once a month until we can get his weight up. As of right now, he has reached all of his developmental milestones.. we are having to feed him every three hours around the clock. Has anyone gone through this and if you have did your child hit a growth spurt?

Following...I'm with you! My girl was premature and she is the same age and same weight. HE'S ADORABLE EITHER WAY!

Girl, my baby was like that too. Don't worry. Mine kept spitting up a lot of the formula. She's finally at her weight at 1 year old.

Less than 1 percentile and now we are 15 weeks and 3 percentile

I have a small baby. 4% at 13 weeks. She just hit 10lbs but is perfectly healthy EBF

I mean my boy is only 10 pounds at 12 weeks and they don’t seem worried. They never mentioned a growth check on him or anything as long as he is gaining weight is all they are looking for

My boy is 14 weeks and in the .4 percentile! He has severe reflux and is having trouble keeping the food down and gaining the weight. However, he is still gaining at his own pace and the doctors aren’t too worried. We are also doing weight checks just to keep an eye on it. I try to keep remembering that my kiddo is still happy and healthy - he’s just growing in his own time 🩵

The health visitors are so extra... if he's doing well in all areas apart from weight, i wouldnt really worry... because if they were so concern they'd run tests. I'll tell them to back up and get him weighed in 3-6 months and let him demand feed, x

My baby is a around 17-18 lbs and is nearly a year old. She’s ebf and eats 2-3 meals plus snacks a day. She’s hitting all her milestones on time just is small 🤷♀️

Our second was a tiny baby. Between 0.3-3%. Still is small at 4. Our ped said if he is growing along his growth curve ok then some babies have to be at the bottom of the chart and it’s totally ok and nothing to worry about.

Went from 13% to 1% having to feed every 2-3 hours and now I have to pump for 24 hours to prove my supply. He hot a growth spurt a couple days before his appointment so we stayed on the same growth curve. His dr said it could just he that he’s small or there could be something wrong which definitely does not help the anxiety.
You’re doing a great job❤️

Also pumping does not give you the same amount of milk that babies get while breastfeeding. They are much better at getting milk out so don’t base how much you get when you pump compared to breastfed. Doing a weighted feed is the best way to see how much baby gets during a fed

My 12 almost 13 week old just hit 10 pounds and is still not on the charts. He was a month early so I’m keeping that in mind. He wants to eat every 3 hours on the dot. Before I went back to work I would breast feed on command. He’s still on breast milk and our pediatrician hasn’t said anything about him being so small. He was born 6 pounds 3 ounces and dropped as low as 5 pounds 9 ounces. We did weigh ins every other day for the first week and he was gaining steadily. He’s had a few growth spurts and is gaining the recommend 1-2 pounds a month like they wanted.

@Amanda he'd of been around 10pounds then born on time... he was a good weight being a month early.. ♡

He so cute
