I'd like to lose weight before our holiday, but nothing seems to be shifting this belly

I felt the same and I usually lose weight easy but found it so much harder after pregnancy. I also haven’t been signed off to go to the gym yet so relying on a clean diet and walking everyday.
Start with setting yourself small goals and only weigh yourself once a week.
What I found that has helped me massively is doing a meal plan for the week. This way you can do your food shop so you have everything for the week (this stopped me from shopping midweek and picking up snacks and bad food choices etc as I was hungry)
I put my meal plan on my fridge and tick it off as I go. I also aim for 6 glasses of water minimum a day and tick this off too. This motivates me and gives me a sense of accomplished everytime I tick off a meal.
I started this a week ago as I felt the exact same as you and nearly two pounds down already. I have been really strict with my food choices though as I too have a holiday coming up soon x

Try shapewear. I have skims and it works pretty good

@Fitnesscoach.twinmum on Instagram has a lot of exercises to help with your stomach after baby, she obviously says that you need to do them alongside a balanced diet but it’s good guidance. I’d also say walking a lot has helped me. People underestimate it but it’s really good for you
I personally don’t weigh myself as I just go off how I feel in my clothes but if you do weigh yourself I’d do it every day as weight can fluctuate from day to day especially in women and the. Take a weekly average.

Give yourself time. It took me about a year to shift weight in my first pregnancy. I’m trying to lose about 1-2 lbs per week. Cut out snacks and eat well. Lots of steps hurt. Sign up to a run as something to work towards is always a good idea.
