Condoms or birth control mama as long as your doctor cleared you your good to go. I got my birth control at my 3 weeks pp appointment cause I knew I’d eventually want to do it and was scared of getting pregnant again
Good that you are scared to be pregnant again because that's what usually happens if no protection is used right after you have a baby. Use that fear to protect yourself from getting pregnant again so fast
Hey girlie. Feel free to reach out if you need 🩵
I’d be happy to talk about things. Answer any questions. Any support. It’s hard. Don’t let him pressure you. Absolutely double up on protection if you can. Like birth control and condoms. And as long as doctors cleared you you’re all good. Just go slow and take your time. Make sure you’re mentally ready also.
Not too soon! I had sex the first time again at 7-8wks i think, just take it slow bcs it can have the possibility of being painful/dry so definitely condoms and lube up ☺️ if you’re worried about condom breaking costco has $6 plan b no membership needed!
I had my baby at 16, got cleared around 5 weeks postpartum, got an IUD around 8 weeks postpartum!! Condoms in the meantime, you’re going great girl! About a year and a half later and no more babies!
I think I has sex for the first time again at 9/10 weeks pp. Obviously, we'd avoided sex, not specifically just to avoid pregnancy but cause I'm a c-section mama so getting pregnant again straight away could have been unsafe. Pretty sure I got my implant at about 7 weeks pp. Then me and my partner had sex a few weeks later.
I did it at 6 weeks pp, whenever you feel ready is the right time of course as long as you’re all healed and happy to try! It can feel uncomfortable for the first time again because your body has been through a lot of change so take your time and don’t rush with it! ❤️❤️
physically you should be okay at 3 months! but if you’re not ready yet that’s totally okay. if you’re worried about pregnancy definitely look into birth control, or checking your ovulation. or condoms
My opinion (what I plan on doing) is after birth getting an IUD (which one you select all depends on how long you want to go without the possibility of getting pregnant). I’m going to get either the 2 or 5 year one, still haven’t decided. But if this is the last kid you want there is a 10yr one as well. However you are extra fertile after birth because your hormones are ideal so I’d recommend that plus condoms to start, as condoms themselves aren’t entirely reliable as a whole. You could also do the pill but in my experience unless you’re reallllllly good about taking it everyday I can’t personally recommend it, but it’s effectiveness when utilized properly is great :)
I don’t it after 3 weeks because my partner was begging and I did have a episiotomy and forceps but I was fine
after 6 weeks your doctor should have cleared u to have sex. condoms could help you not get pregnant
