Period late... any one know why
So I've always had a 35 day cycle. After my son i got the copper iud and had normal period for 3 months now (nov., dec. Into Jan. And feb.) The 1st cycle was 34 days. The second cycle was 40 days. The 3rd cycle is going on 41 days and all I had was slight cramping on Tuesday and Wednesday last week. I stopped breastfeeding in February and still had my period that month. I took a pregnancy test yesterday and it was negative and I took an ovulation test and it was low. I see my obgyn in a month for a pap. Is it okay to leave this for a month? Anyone know why this happened?

They can sometimes stop your period. When I was on the implant I had normal periods for a few months and then they stopped and this was before I was even pregnant x
When I had my IUD I didn’t have periods at all for the entire 8 years. So I would say it’s normal but definitely bring it up to your OB
yeah the hormonal iuds can make your period stop but the copper iud is non hormonal so I should still be having periods.
