Traveling with baby

Has anyone traveled to Mexico with their baby? Did you go all inclusive resort or hotel/airbnb? Any baby friendly places you would recommend? Did you bring your car seat, and were you able to use it on transport provided to the resort or ubers, etc.? Any tips would be greatly appreciated, thank you !!

Hey!
We are going to Mexico at the end of the month. I will let you know how it goes

We’re here right now! We went to Cabo San Lucas. Would 100% recommend. All the people we have met have loved babies and kids, grocery stores are very easy here and have baby essentials. We rented a condo so we make our own dinner and everything, food has been easy!

Hello!! I just got back from Mexico with my 9 month old. I checked my infant car seat (in a car seat bag, with sneaky blankets, diapers ect) we brought our big stroller and gate checked it so we were able to use it all the way until we got on the plane. We also brought an ergo baby carrier, I just wore it and it didn't count as a bag or personal item or anything.

I went to an air BNB, right on the ocean. I would recommend that over a resort because you can leave the room while the baby is napping and float in the pool or lie on the beach and just have a baby monitor with you. Also you can rearrange things to sort of "baby proof" way easier than at a resort.

I used the car seat in our rental car no problem.

Ask for highchairs/playpens ect. Places usually can provide them and then you don't have to bring them

There is a foldable floaty-boat thing that everyone seems to buy from Amazon that we had, you should get, it has a sun cover and packs small and is excellent for the beach/pool.

Went to a resort in Mexico last year. My daughter was 7.5 months. I asked for a crib at the resort, they provided a playpen. I brought my own crib sheet, sleep sack, etc.

She was mostly on bottles, baby cereal, and fruit pouches at the time, so no worries about food. I was extra cautious and boiled the bottled water before making her formula ( got a tiny collapsible camping kettle, amazon). I got a collapsible wash basin (small, also amazon), her soap, and bottle brush, as well as a few towels and paper towel rolls. I washed everything using the stuff mentioned and their bottled water. I was probably a little excessive, but I didn't want her to get sick.

Otherwise, traveling with a baby under 10months is a breeze compared to a toddler. She slept the entire plane ride, both ways, and laid around with us by the pool and beach. Some of her naps were stroller naps, and I brought a couple of thin muslin blankets that I wet to keep her cool.

Super chill trip, tbh. Washing her bottles was the only pain.

We also did private transportation to the resort. It's a little pricey but worth it. Couldn't imagine a bus with a baby and running the risk of being the last resort to get dropped off.

I just held her in my arms in the car, and it was fine. Not ideal of course but it was fine.
