How long after failed FET to try again?

Going to have my beta tomorrow to confirm but already know this hasn’t worked. We have one more ice baby left before we have to really think if we are going to start from scratch for more embryos. I’ve read one cycle is enough to try again for the next FET. I’m waiting to start my period I feel absolutely awful physically and emotionally but won’t start until I stop the meds. Did anyone start straight after this bleed or wait a whole other month to start again?

I think it depends on your dr but in my case I went straight into another cycle as soon as my period started but I know some drs want you to have a cycle in between.

Firstly I’m sorry to hear that and hope you’re as ok as you can be. My clinic said I needed to wait for the withdrawal bleed (comes quite quickly after you stop progesterone) then one full cycle after that.

ugh, that sounds really tough... I've heard some people jump right back in after their bleed, while others take a month to reset, so it kinda depends on how you're feeling, I guess. this is what the 'Heal App' mentioned… hope it helps! "I'm really sorry to hear that you're feeling this way; it's completely understandable to feel overwhelmed during this time. Many people do choose to start their next frozen embryo transfer (FET) cycle after their period following a failed cycle, but the timing can vary based on individual circumstances and your healthcare provider's recommendations. Some may wait a month to allow their bodies and emotions to recover, while others may feel ready to proceed sooner. It's important to listen to your body and your feelings during this process. Have you had a chance to discuss your feelings and options with your healthcare team? They can provide personalized guidance based on your specific situation."
