Rant - argument with another mum at car park
The nursery car park spaces are so tight. I moved to get out the space because the mum next to be was getting her kid out.
She smacked my car and said I ran over her foot
I felt so bad, drove off, stopped the car to look at my camera footage and I didn’t run over her foot at all. I turned back and told her I checked the cameras and I didn’t run over her foot. I told her to look at my camera and called me all the names under the sun and said she didn’t even take my details and she was saying I was crazy to come back to tell her
I’m sick of people wanting over me. I had to say something to her.
She said, “you drive a electric car, this is a school car park, you should have waited”
I’ll see this woman twice a day. At birthday parties and at nursery/school events…
I’ll admit, I should have said “hey, I’m going to move the car to give you more space”

What an odd thing to claim that someone ran over your foot 🤨
yeah, I thought it was weird too. I think she probably got a fright that the car her bum was on, started to move
I don’t know how to deal with the awkwardness when I see her? Just kidding she doesn’t exist?
I wouldn't have moved the car whilst she physically had her car door open and was getting her child out. But saying you ran over her foot is an odd thing to say, and she would have definitely been in pain from it.
It annoys me when I'm trying to get my daughter out when the car next to me starts to move, I wouldn't mind if they let me know so I can close the door and move out the way.
Next time you see her, maybe just apologise for moving the car without alerting her

good to know! Thanks for your reply! I guess I’ve just never felt that way before. I usually just stop and let them leave first because I’d prefer more space to open the door and don’t want them waiting for ages because we know how long it can take sometimes! I just assume people will drive when I see them get in the car
It was definitely “you ran over my foot” because she said I was nice enough not to take your details and in the camera she walked to my car fine but when she walked to the school, and saw me watching, she started limping. But she managed to walk her kid to the school and walk back to my car twice to shout at me
Also, she parks at the nursery car park even though it’s soo busy but her kid goes the school next door 🤦🏽♀️
yeah definitely saw me get into my car and I was front facing so she saw me in the car too
She said I should have waited for her but I think she should have waited for me so she’d have more space
Oh yeah, when she mentioned the electric car, I like looked at her like wtf??lol🤣 and I think it pissed her off even more 🤣🤣 I think she means the car is quiet so people can’t hear it? She drives a loud bmw
