Gripe water

How often do people give their babies gripe water and how do you administer it? I’ve seen people put it in teats. My little one is 5 weeks old and is suffering with gas/colic. I did try infacol and that worked for a bit but I think he’s a bit refluxy too so I think the infacol stopped working and started making the reflux worse.

I gave it after every bottle for a while, as well as mylicon/infacol. I also switched to dr brown anti colic bottles. All of that really helped!

i have my little boy 1ml 3 x a day, morning, afternoon & evening - worked an absolute treat! i now only give it when he hasn’t been really gassy for 24 hours as he’s now super gassy & in no discomfort!

how do you both give it to your little ones? My little guy is just spitting it out at the moment 😭

i’m lucky with my little boy, he’s a greedy ass, i just used a pipette straight into the mouth, he’d swallow then i’d shove him straight on the boob so he’d associate it with boob/food

Should be 5ml at a go, during or after a feed. I use the syringe that comes in the calpol box. Only when I feel she’s gassy, not everyday

i didn’t want to overload my boys system at 5ml each time - so don’t feel as if you have to do 5ml!

You should try fennel water rather then gripe water much more natural x

I use a medicine pacifier to administer it and it works amazingly

Leaky nappy help

What nappies are you using to stop leaks?? We use pampers ultra dry size 5, and for the past few nights he has lashed through and we’ve had to completely change him during the night. Last night he leashed through twice!! He sleeps on his front and stays leaks through at the top of his leg where the tabs connect. Didn’t know whether to size up, he has a bit of a belly on him but he’s smack in middle of weight guidance so shouldn’t need too

Am I wrong?

I’ve been wanting to add more garden beds to my garden. Husband says “hey do you want to go to Home Depot to get that wood for the garden beds.” Cool I’m excited I’ve been wanting to get this done for awhile.

We get there and we’re picking out wood and I make 2 comments about how I don’t like how 2 pieces of wood look that he picked out. And he says if you’re going to be this picky then u can do this yourself.

I literally made 2 comments and mind you I’m the one paying for the wood.

I felt dismissed and like my opinion didn’t matter and if I wanted to have an opinion then I need to do it myself. Like what?

It was rude and not okay. Am I wrong? Am I overreacting?

He thinks it was fine that he said that.

New born

Finally had my baby girl via C-section on the 18th, everything has been so far. But I’ve noticed she’s very fussy and cries a lot. I’ve been trying to exclusively breastfeed. The lactation consultant at the hospital said I did look like I’m making enough milk for her. She was latching on good at the hospital and now here at home, she doesn’t seem to want to latch at all. She’s been crying a lot and very fussy. I’m just wondering is she’s colic or like maybe she just doesn’t want the breast anymore?

6 month old autistism

My 6 month old makes no eye contact with me and doesn’t respond when I call him. Can this just be a phase or personality trait as apposed to autism
