I think it’s sad how this story is not getting more media coverage. I find it problematic when some missing girl cases get more attention than others! There needs to be more pressure on trying to bring her home, so ppl can start talking. Someone out there knows what happened to her! I hope her family can have find some peace soon

I've seen a lot of discourse around how Gen Z doesn't follow girl code like previous generations. There's been a lot of tiktoks from young women saying that they're not their sister's keepers, they don't have to "babysit" their friends, as opposed to the strict modus operandi of previous generations where no girl gets left behind. My girl friends and I were fierce about making sure we stayed safe on nights out

yes! There has been stories were ppl have left their friends at hotel parties, etc. because ppl trust their friends.
Back in my days we had like pep talks before we hit the streets for a night out. We had a motto amongst my group of friends “no soldiers left behind” lol the sober driver was especially the one in charge of gathering the troops. If we all went together, we are all leaving together & nobody is to go anywhere alone or to be left alone ever. Everywere we went as large groups u wud have to take a tag partner with u or we all go as a unit.
Especially if the girlies who had habits of meeting guys & having one night stands, no one was allowed to do a walk of shame by themselves. So a dude wanted to choose one of us, he knew he needed to choose all of us cuz we aren’t letting our intoxicated friend leave by herself with a stranger we all jus met especially if the stranger is also very intoxicated as well! That was the sisterhood! Dang I miss those days
