Is anyone else having to do this? Baby feeds regularly during the day (combi fed) but I’m having to wake her every 4 hours during the night to feed. One midwife said to leave her to sleep and another said to wake regularly. I feel awful waking her but also want to make sure she is getting enough. My firstborn woke every 1-2 hours on the dot so this is very unknown to me! I’m taking her to be weighed and checked over by the HV tomorrow but up to now at all her checks she’s been fine so no concerns raised.

We are having to wake our little one up for almost every feed day and night. She's formula fed and is being fed every 4 hours and has only ever gained weight (never lost her birth weight). She's not even 2 weeks old yet so we are still going to wake her for a bit longer. I forgot to mention it to the health visitor yesterday when they came so I would be interested to know what they say to you

My firstborn was like this, but personally I wouldn’t wake for a feed if they are doing well on weight and feeding good during the day.
Keep up with the consistent feeds during daytime to make sure they are getting enough and let them sleep overnight for as long as they need, I believe they would wake up if they were really hungry
