I go to a sensory class and a baby signing class. Pay by the term but they are £7.50 each per week 😅
I go to sensory(family hub), massage (family hub), nursery rhymes and story time (library), a walking group(mama social co), and a baby toddler group(local church hall), which includes snacks and drinks for adults and kids. Every single one is free. I do pay for swimming classes which have just gone up to £5.40 per class. We started groups when he was 2 weeks old and at that stage he literally just ate and slept so I didn't fancy paying. I found plenty of free groups and we still go as we love them
@Lucy that’s amazing you managed to find so many free classes. I don’t get how some groups can charge £7.50 for 45 minutes of singing songs when you can sing the same songs at another group for free
@Liza the sensory group I go to is actually amazing and worth every penny, my daughter loves it. The signing ground isn’t as good and I am looking to drop that and go swimming instead. We also do 2 free groups, 1 is an art class and the other is a ‘watch me grow’ group so each week they take pictures of the babies doing different games etc and we are making books with the pictures ☺️
I once paid 10 for a 'sensory' class hat was just a person yammering about how good the class was for the baby brain development and then pressing play on a stereo, couldn't understand why anyone went back
Ive been to groups that have cost over £5 and I just didn’t find it any better than a regular one I attend which is £2
