Moses Basket or Bedside Crib

Hi mums, I’m struggling to decide whether I should buy a Moses Basket or a Bedside Crib for my newborn due in June.. being a first time mum i’m just really indecisive and overthinking everything.. any recommendations or advice would help!! Xx

Bedside crib, my little boy outgrew his Moses basket in 4 months. Also the transfers are a lot easier with the dropped side.

i’ve got both, we got the moses for down stairs for throughout the day, but my son is quiet small and doesn’t like his next to me just yet so hoping he’s going to like it once he’s a little bigger xx

We used both but my baby grew out of the moses basket really quickly! It was very handy for taking to friends and family though. Alternatively look for a next to me on wheels or one that's easily transportable so you can move it around easily then you can use it for living room naps and bedtime sleeping!

I’d say both. But buy a cheap Moses basket. They grow out of them quickly but in the early days often they don’t like next to me cribs as they’re too big they prefer to be somewhere a little more snug x

Bedside crib, they grow so fast out of moses baskets. For naps in other rooms check your pram, ours was suitable for overnight sleep and the baby preferred it.

I bought a bedside crib, iccle bubba, it’s big and am sure it would fit my baby past 7months. It came in a bundle of iccle bubba stomp luxe 14pcs set with the travel set. The bedside crib is nice, highly recommend

I ended up getting the snuz pod which is a side sleeper that disconnects from the stand and can be used as a bassinet/ Moses basket type thing as I couldn’t figure out what to do either! Seemed like the best of both worlds!

We had a moses basket and she was in it til 6 months. She only ever napped on me so made no difference needing something to move to a different room!!!

Next to me best option

We have both and it’s perfect. The Moses basket can be moved around to each room much easier throughout the day and then we just keep the bedside in one place. We initially had to put him down to sleep with the Moses basket inside the next to me because he didn’t like how big it was xxx

We used both, originally the plan was to keep the moses downstairs however for the first few months baby hated how big the next to me was and we ended up just putting the basket inside the next to me at night. He didn’t outgrow the basket until 4 months old although he was very tiny at birth x
