Help please 😭😂

My little boy is just turning 5 months and I thought he was out of the 4 month sleep regression but the last 2 nights he’s sleeping very very lightly and waking up to feed every 3 hours instead of going 6 hours 🙃 he’s also just started to sleep on his side and wants to sleep up again the mesh of his cot and is just very fidgety….is this still the sleep regression???

My little girl was the same, up every 3 hours it only really stopped last week. She’s still getting up at either 00:30 if she’s gone to sleep early or 2:30 if she goes at 10pm ish. Then up again at like 5:30/6 but she’s a lot better than she was last week. Also, my little girl sleeps up against the mesh of her cot she absolutely loves it, I think that’s just her comfy spot x

@Molly think it’s where we just got used to one feed a night and have now gone back to 3 but of a shock to the system 😂 and I just get worried with him up against it xx

I hate to tell you there's pretty much a regression one after the other until 12 months of age as they either last so long they go into the next one or there's a few I believe that are clustered together. It does get better from about 6 months. There's no harm in sleeping up against the mesh it's why it's there as all babies do it at some stage the fidgeting is normal at this age too it will pass eventually

@YazmynJade think you’ve just broke my heart 😂😂 thank you at least I’m prepared x

@YazmynJade they actually go through sleep regressions right up until the age of 4, apparently 😩

still in your room? honestly our little girl had the same and i think we were disturbing her. since moving here she has only stirred and gone back to sleep!!

We had the same but it turned out to be teething !

My little almost 5 month boy is ebf and sleeps for 4 hours on average 7-11pm then up every 30mins to an hour after that so when I read getting up 2 times in the night so jealous haha

@Rachel they do but they're more sporadic my eldest is two and never struggled with them as a baby but now he's older there's been one that's caused problems but it didn't last long

@YazmynJade my little boy is the same & he is nearly 3. He never really had them as a baby as he started sleeping through from 2 months & went up until 8 months before regressing until he was 15 months, but that was because he felt trapped in his cotbed so we took the side off & he went back to sleeping well again.

@Laura he is yes, we moved into our house when I was heavily pregnant and there’s been so much work to do so his room isn’t ready yet :(

@Rachel my boy is still on his next to me I might take the side down to see if it helps
