One was 2.5 and the other was right before 2.

Mine had just gone 2 x

And signs for me was not sleeping at night being the main one x

1.5

One was just before 3. The other around 2y3m. The biggest sign for us is that they become a nightmare to get down at night. Both could still have a nap, but then its hours trying to get them to go to bed

About 18 months x

My 2 year old has naps ones in a blue moon but he stopped around a year and ahalf. My daughter is 1 and still naps x

My daughter will be 3 in July and she’s been hating getting ready for nap. It’s a struggle to change her and when I finally get into her room, we read a couple books but then she doesn’t want to lay down and she’ll say no nap. After about 10-15 minutes she’ll lay down and she’ll fall asleep in about 15-18 minutes. We have to lay next to her bed and we have our hum or twinkle twinkle little star on till she falls asleep. So she will nap but not sure if it’s worth the struggle. And now at bedtime she’s starting to give my husband a hard time, not as hard as nap though.

Difficult to get to bed in the evening, waking at night or really early

Around 18 months

My first was a little past 4 years old, my second around 2.5 years old.

My little boy was somewhere between 1 and a half and 2 when he stopped napping consistently. Now he has maybe 1 or 2 naps a week if we are lucky & he is nearly 3.

My sign was the everloving fight he would put up if we tried. I cant find still occasionally get him for a nap on the couch or in the car (he truly needs it still but weve pretty much dropped it) trying to implement early bedtime so hes no soo tired! (Freshly 3 but always been a sleeper, he is super high energy so needs that reboot). Still struggling to find a balance

Sorry to jump on. Our boy has recently turned 2. Such a struggle to get him to nap at home but falls asleep easy in the car or at nursery. Bedtime difficult no matter what when we are both here. But if just dad or just me home, bedtime is ok. We’ve tried no nap both at home and nursery but he gets so tired and upset. Anyone else in the same boat with this?!

6 weeks old!💀 up untill now he doesnt napp and if he does have a random nap it never lasts long

At a little over 3 he naps at daycare still but typically not on the weekends at home. So bedtime is either 9pm or 7pm.

@Kayla sounds like ready to drop the nap to me. Fighting sleep and impacting bedtime are the main signs.

My first was 4, second was 3 and my last is 2 and napping strong still To add, if they aren’t sleeping good at night or don’t want to go to bed I would either cut the nap in half and see or drop them all together

Just turned 4 and still napping, but not every day and I’m not forcing it. He just takes himself off if he’s tired lol

Still napping at 5 🩷

My boy is almost 3 and still napping. Happily takes himself to bed at the weekend for 1.5hrs, and sleeps 12hrs at night. He’s got and miss at nursery for naps, but weekends he’s guaranteed to sleep

both of them stopped right before 2

My son is turned 3 & half this month & he still naps. Actually he is currently has just fallen asleep on me right now cuz it’s naptime

Just after 2

It’s most common for them to nap till 3 and some kids till 4. I remember being 4-5 and still napping after school 😅 with my chocolate milk. My son still naps at 2.5

Around 2 he would fight it and I would have to drive to get him nap (I was pregnant). Now at 3 he pretty much never naps unless in the car sometimes or superrr tired

Not stopped naps yet & she’s 3 years old . She’ll have the odd nap when in the car or if she’s poorly . That’s about it , we wait on her terms . If it’s causing a struggle , maybe stopping naps might be an idea if you think she’s got enough energy to get through the day without it.

My daughter is 3 1/2 and still naps once per day

My stepdaughter took naps through age 5. She stopped in the middle of kindergarten. Now will randomly but not all the time

Before 1

Mine is 2.5 and she still naps everyday

1.5

At 3 now and he naps 50/50. We have quiet time and if he sleeps fine and if he doesn't fine. We just have a cut off time for the end of quiet time if he's not asleep or close to it. I refuse to do this any other way--In the state of Wisconsin, under the age of 5 are required to have a rest period if they are in any care setting more than 4hrs. We have full day 4k so I'm trying to make sure the teachers won't have issues later. And a nice rest for everyone is good.

@Hayley how did you get through that time when you resulted in driving to get him to nap? My little one gets so tired but keeps refusing to nap at home although he tells me he’s tired and wants to sleep

@Amanda when they stopped were they happy, or was there a struggle with the transition?
