Meet ups?
Hello everyone. Has anyone found straight after you give birth you have lots of people visiting, messaging etc. Few months down the line when you need people theres no one around? I go to a baby group but never meet up outside of it. Im up for meeting new mums for chat , walk ect :)

With my first yes but with my second I went through the birth and then after when his was in nicu on my own
Maybe ask some of the mums at the baby group if they fancy getting a coffee or a walk. You might find others feel the same but aren’t brave enough to make the first move! I find it’s like dating you have to make lots of attempts to make connections and eventually a couple stick 😆 It can feel super awkward trying to make mum friends but it’s worth it for the good ones you get!
Yess I can relate to this, I noticed it with my first around 3 months. I’ve just had my second baby in January so life is a little busier this time round but I have days with my older one in preschool where I’m now noticing things have quietened down a lot. I’m also from Southampton and would be happy to meet x
I think I've been lucky that I made a couple of friends at an antenatal class so that I have had other new mums to message post birth and meet up when possible.
My LO is 2 months so I'm just starting to try out baby groups etc
I'm also near Southampton :)
