Antenatal classes
Any recommendations for antenatal classes in Warrington? The NHS search only comes up with yoga, maybe I’m a bit naive as it’s my 1st but I was looking for something more like what you see in the movies where partners attend and learn a bit as well 😅

I managed to sign up to a free 2hr parent craft class online. It was really good

I've booked to do NCT classes. I don't start for another two weeks, so can't say what they are like yet.
I met a lovely lady at the Baby Fayre on Sunday, who also does antenatal classes in South Warrington. Her company is called Bumps in Bloom.
Your midwife can also book you on to the NHS one, but we decided against it as it was really busy. Instead we're going to do a shortened version of the course with our midwife when we visit the hospital for our tour.
how do you book onto the hospital ones? I don’t have an appointment with midwife for another 4 weeks… haha I feel completely unprepared so not sure winging it strategy is for me 🫣

The NCT courses are in Latchford. They're quite expensive, but we chose to pay monthly to spread the cost.

What other antenatal classes does NHS provide? And how many weeks before the due date it is recommended to join?
I can 100% recommend bumps in bloom. I'm currently doing the active antenatal class which is just me for 6 weeks and they are so so good. Then there is the one for both parents as well.
