Separation

So I had separated from my kids father awhile back, but I ended up dating a guy and I moved in with him because I had nowhere else to go. Now we are on the verge of breaking up and my daughter loves him, like only wants him at all times, what do I do if we separate? She's gonna be more heartbroken than me I feel like.

There is no easy answer for this. My daughter is a daddy‘s girl, but he goes on deployments. This last deployment was the first time she was old enough to really understand and look for him. It was rough for a few weeks, but she did adjust. She will be reunited with him next week. All I can really say is you will just have to be there to comfort her and deal with the upset. Children are extremely resilient and she will adjust to life without him. Better now than when she is older and might remember him.
