Constipated/hungry??

My baby is 10 days old, she’s started becoming really fussy as though she’s constipated but having a dirty nappy everytime I change her and seems to be so much more hungry the last day. Can anyone help with advice or has anyone experienced this?

Is she giving you signs that she’s hungry? Maybe it can be something else? What are you usually feeding her throughout the day? Are you feeding her? Anything different? Maybe something is upsetting her stomach.

She has a mixture of breastmilk and Kendamil infant formula, she is giving signs of being hungry. Hand to mouth, searching with her mouth but she’s on 3 ounces and she’s giving hungry ques quite frequently after drinking the full 3.

You could maybe try 4oz instead of 3 and see how she gets on.. I struggled when my baby was newborn with this when I was breastfeeding as he was so fussy, I thought he was in pain with wind but turned out he was hungry and just needed more.. baby’s cluster feed so potentially she just needs a little more

Yeah I’ll try her up to 4, the last few hours she’s occasionally be chilled and make a noise as though she is in pain then cry too? But whilst doing that she goes on to showing signs of hunger c

I would stop counting the oz. We did that for our first and she was doing the same thing - until the pediatrician recommended just feed her more even though she was already getting around double what the “standard” amount was. Also sometimes changing formula helps if they are having stomach pain issues

If she’s having dirty nappies then she won’t be constipated. What’s making you think she is?
She could be fussy due to gas/tummy pain. Is she burping okay? Or she could just be extra hungry going through a growth spurt. Does she cheer up after feeds? Is she sleeping well/ could she be tired? It’s a total guessing game with babies. Process of elimination x

Yeah I think it could be gas or tummy ache, I do try to get a burp out of her but sometimes she’s doesn’t. Yeah usually she’s fine after a feed just wanting more. She sleeps well too

Help! First time mum -

I have a 4 month old and now all of a sudden when he’s been asleep for 1hr30/2hrs he will wake up screaming (high pitched) I’ve tried winding him sometimes that helps, I’ve tried bicycle legs & bringing his knees up but that doesn’t seem to help but he brings his knees up himself sometimes but nothing happens. I’ve noticed since the 4 month mark he has started to struggle passing wind downwards! Any tips?

Every bath she goes in quite happy but will only stay like this for a very few mins, if I try to clean her or move her we have tears and after a few mins the same. It's like she is scared. Our current baby bath is quite big should I try a different one? Looking for any suggestions as want her to enjoy bath time not be upset and I'm scared I'm going to make her hate it😢💗

Crying during feeding

Hey mams! My girl is 6 weeks on Monday and is having so much trouble with feeding. It doesn’t happen every feed but more often than not she will start a bottle and just start crying as if she’s in pain and she can’t take the milk. I think it’s trapped wind but I genuinely don’t know what to do it’s so pitiful to see her not be able to feed! She’s formula fed and on HiPP Organic.
Anyone else been in this position? I’m pretty sure it’s just a bit of trapped wind that she needs to fart out but can’t! If anyone has any advice I’d be very grateful as I think I may need to tape my eyelids open soon 😂

No more naps! 10 month old

For a few days now my 10m old has fought her 2 daily naps. Normally her wake windows were 3-4 hours and she is now eventually napping after a 6 hour wake window. Today was only one nap, she skipped the second one. Used to nap like clockwork so I’m wondering if anyone else is experiencing this? Also very unsettled most nights and doesn’t sleep well at all
