How noticeable is the scar from your episiotomy?

they did mine off to the side as opposed to straight down so if that makes a difference i’m not sure.

but the scar is THICK and makes some positions really painful / impossible to do.

I also can’t use a silicone period cup anymore because the scar adds too much pressure / pain.

and when i had first given birth it was constantly rubbing against the chairs i would sit in or my pants and it would re irreitate it / bleed all the time.

so it has me wondering if they just really fucked up when they were stitching me back up to make it the scar so thick or if this is just common for all of us 🤔

For me it was on the side, I felt every stitch and cut. Awful pain. The scar feels kinda weird like rubber or something. I’m 3 years postpartum too but some positions are painful and impossible too. Just got to let it run its course I guess😭

My man said it’s pretty noticeable apparently they didn’t make a clean seam when they sewed which makes sense cus I couldn’t walk basically for 2 weeks after my first

It should always be angled on the side not straight down x
